Calibre Cassette Library

The Calibre Cassette Library is a free book on tape lending library for print disabled persons. They are interested in the benefits that digital audio can provide for their clients. I worked with two of my mates to recommend a course of action for the next decade, supported by research we conducted on client demand and demographic and technology trends. We also considered the impact of copyright laws and digital rights management technologies on Calibre and their clients.

I'm saddened that our predictions have thus far been born out; digital audio and electronic book technologies have a lot to offer the print disabled, but they are not yet widely available. We also put their entire catalogue on the Internet as a component of a website designed for the print disabled. (I have yet to determine how we did this in seven weeks and still managed to spend hours patronising the London pubs and clubs.)
