New Music

Buy happiness: get some new music in your life. Works for me. I’ve got four new albums in my rotation from Waking, Greener, No Lindsay, and Ticker Tape Parade. They all rock.

This hard rock album is awesome; I only wish it was longer than six tracks plus a bonus track. I really like Restless, so I don’t mind having a live version in addition to the studio version.

A phoenix died and I will rise
from all the fears I leave behind.

The lyrics are even better with music. Hard and melodic, catchy lyrics and rhythms.

First, let me say that I love the album art. I’ll give you three guesses at what she’s holding behind her back. If you owned the CD you could just flip it over and see. I’ll give you a hint, you’re not likely to find it pleasurable unless you’re Angelina Jolie and enjoy having knives in bed with you. I guess that kinda gives it away.

Second, I like the music. This hard rock album has a punk feel. Go ahead and sample every song.

The songs are as whimsical as the band name and album title. I love it. Try Hologram for an example.

Now don’t you ever wonder?
Don’t you ever ask questions?
You’re an A+ student with a dingy mind.

Take rock and add a splash of emo, stir. It’s a shame they changed their name. Correction: They changed their minds and are keeping the name, No Lindsay.

Good luck getting Sore Eyes out of your head. But then, why would you want to? Enjoy.

Punky emo.
