Not Perfect But Not Bad
Apparently others don't think my MQP is going as badly as I do.
Today was MQP presentation day here at WPI. Basically, an MQP is a senior project (mine was to work with 3 other guys and build a Micro-Aerial Vehicle) and today was the day that all MQPs a presented on campus. Being part of the Mechanical Engineering Department my group had to make a poster and describe our project to judges who came around--think science fair.
The problem with our project is that it doesn't really fly. Oh sure, it'll fly in a straight line for about 15 seconds but when you need to turn it rolls really fast and falls from the sky. Not exactly a spectacular success. Yeah ... it's been bumming me. Still is.
Only not quite so much anymore. Seems the first round of judges liked our stuff (hey, I can talk the talk at least). So we made it to the second round and got an Honorable Mention. Which is pretty good for something that doesn't work. Don't you think?
I guess I might be too demanding ... high standards an' all.
At any rate I'll put all of the cool stuff up (report, poster, etc) in a couple of weeks.
