First of the Last

Today was the first track meet of my last season. It didn't go so well but there were some bright spots, not so related to me.
Things just didn't click today and I think I really ran below myself. I'm going to have to really work hard this week and make up for it next weekend at the Engineer's Meet. However, I think that several other members of the team ran quite well today. Things look good as the season progresses.
The best part of today for me was that my parents came out to watch me run and then treat me to diner. That was cool.
